  1. The Stacks

For a student seeking a traditional study spot on campus, the Stacks is the perfect place for you! The study rooms are easy to book for group study sessions, and the individual cubicles are perfect for grinding out essays (or taking naps). Plus, you can grab a quick pick-me-up at Peet’s on the first floor if you’re gonna be pulling an all-nighter!

2. The Tables Outside of Rollins School of Public Health

If you’re trying to soak up some sun before finals season hits, check out the outdoor study space by Rollins! It has lots of seating options — both in direct sun and otherwise — so you don’t have to worry about any crazy tan lines. Plus, not a lot of undergraduate students go there, so it’s the perfect spot to study if you’re looking to avoid distractions.

3. Pitts Theology Library

Another underrated study spot, Pitts Theology Library makes it on this list because of its quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Everyone there is always super focused on their work, which motivates me to study harder. Plus, you can also reserve group study rooms in Pitts, which is a good option for finals week when every room in the library is booked!

4. Atwood Chemistry Building

It’s no surprise that Atwood is one of the most beautiful buildings on campus. Its modern architecture has such a unique feel (there’s nothing like being surrounded by chem students talking about orgo!). I especially love working in the individual study rooms on the ground floor whenever I have an hour break in between classes at White Hall.

5. Study Lounges in a Dorm you Don’t Live In

In college, your peers can be your greatest resource. Oftentimes, this leads to study groups taking place in communal areas, such as residential hall study lounges. Since most of my classmates live in another dorm across campus, this has resulted in me making the trek to Raoul Hall countless times this year. Studying in Raoul has become an increasingly common occurrence for me that the ResLife staff has even mistaken me for a resident there! Despite this, study lounges in other dorms have made it on this list of the best study spots on campus because of the incredible memories you get to make.
